A former marine technician with Captain’s Choice Yacht Management in South Carolina, Andrew Khoury now works as a setup manager on behalf of a professional soccer team. In addition, Andrew Khoury attends Charleston Southern University (CSU), a post-secondary institution that embraces biblical core values such as salvation, diversity, and evangelism.

CSU promotes some of these core values through its Campus Ministries program, which seeks to establish a discipleship culture among students who agree to live by the example set by Jesus Christ. The program operates on the three foundations of teaching, discipleship, and immersion, and includes biweekly Chapel services, multiple mission projects, and conferences.

Students can further promote their own spiritual growth by attending one of the many CSU Small Groups, in which they can meet with other students and study God’s word in an effort to become a disciple of Christ. The groups also serve as a safe place for students to discuss personal issues and foster mentorship and accountability. Another student-led ministry program is Elevate, which meets every Thursday night during the academic year at Lightsey Chapel Auditorium. This worship gathering involves prayer with other believers and is led by the Elevate Band.
